“Taking the Multimedia class expanded Sisi’s interest to take additional courses. She is now a yearbook editor in the ROP Tech Writing Class, taking an additional year of ROP Multimedia and a ROP Visual Communication course. In each of these courses, she has stepped up as a student leader and mentored other students, while maintaining a 3.5 grade point average. Sisi is earning funds toward her post-secondary education by filming and editing community events that a promoter uses to advertise. This is the first time that ‘Living Above the Influence’ will be utilizing video to promote the event. The promoter has contacted Sisi to record next year’s event, as well as others.”
