Who We Serve – Students

Success in the 21st century workforce requires successful completion of post-secondary training leading to industry recognized credentials and/or a 2 or 4 year degree. Students who enroll in career and college readiness course work transition into post-secondary opportunities at a consistently higher rate than students who do not participate in career and college readiness learning opportunities. The infrastructure of California’s career and college readiness programs is designed to allow students access to classes at multiple locations and times, providing maximum flexibility and admittance.  Credentialed teachers with industry expertise provide instruction, which keeps students inspired and engaged. Studies show that  students, engaged in  career and college readiness courses  increase attendance rates and grade-point averages, and become productive members of the local workforce.
