Student Background

Rodrigo was a very bright and upbeat young man. He and his family, socially and economically deprived, were living out of a motel. Despite this hardship, Rodrigo was able to maintain a 3.0 GPA, play varsity football and run track.

Program Description

Digital Printing and Design exposes students to all phases of graphic design and printing. This course includes computer graphics design operation, several types of presses, cameras, plate makers, and bindery. This course also includes instruction on equipment operation. Integrated throughout the course are academic and CTE standards, which include safety, communication, technology, ethics, career planning and other employability skills.

Outcomes

Currently, Rodrigo is the TA for the Digital Printing and Design 3rd period class. Through this experience, Rodrigo has been able to shine! He is responsible, dedicated and displays leadership skills.
