Student Background

Students from all over Yolo County and Colusa County attended a summer camp in Administration of Justice. Students participated in all aspects of the physical training of becoming police officers.

Program Description

High school students attended the Community College and participated in training for 4 days a week, for 6 weeks. Students earned credits in Criminal Justice and Health.

Outcomes

Leadership and character building qualities were a result of this class which included physical education for police officers. There were 109 graduates made possible by the collaboration of ROP, Woodland Community College and SB 70. Several students have turned their high school experience around for success!
