Coastline ROP and Saddleback Valley Unified School District are partnering with Haas Automation, Inc., the largest machine tool manufacturer in the United States, to bring a Haas Technical Education Center (HTEC) to Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo. Trabuco Hills High School is converting their old Auto Shop into a state of the art Engineering Manufacturing lab. With generous donations from Haas Automation, Sandvik Coromant, Huot, 180Skills, Mastercam and many others, this state of the art technical education center will prepare students for Careers in Engineering and Manufacturing. Students enrolled in this class will learn the basic principles and operative skills to setup, program, and operate state-of-the-art Computerized Numerical Contro l (CNC) machinery to prepare for entry-level jobs in the manufacturing industry.
